You’re Jovian is the moniker of Elliott Malvas’s musical outlet. Writing songs under this name since 2008, You’re Jovian started playing shows in 2011. Through the course of time the band has seen a number of lineup changes keeping progress slim and producing random bursts of activity. The most recent line up, as of January 2016, started playing shows consistently and booking tours. Compared to various shoegazey bands such as Swirlies and Built to Spill, Elliott Malvas tries to capture soundscapes that represent the feelings of seasons. Live the band is more up-tempo/noisy resembling more of a raw presence that’s both loose and engaging. Since 2012, You’re Jovian has released a full length record ‘Stereochronic’ via Punkadelia records and a collection of demo’s through VA based label ‘Funny Not Funny Records’. There are plans to release a new record but no word through who and when.
Karacell is the song and sound project of Logan Laurent. Based out of Norfolk, Virginia, Logan began writing and
performing solo and with guests in 2009, releasing the album
Round and Round in November of 2011. Karacell began recording her second album in 2012, releasing several songs throughout the process on soundcloud. Two new Karacell songs were featured exclusively on compilations released by the 757Electronica collective in 2013 and 2014.

~In 2011 Karacell played the first Sweet Tea Pumpkin Pie Festival in DC
~In February of 2012 Karacell was voted
"Best Experimental" band by Veer Magazine's Local Music Awards and
was nominated again in 2013
